Alfred Dreyfus

PRESIDENT:  ERNIE FRIEDLANDER

The purpose of this unit is to confront prejudice, discrimination and stereotyping.  It works towards breaking down barriers in its outreach to the wider community, with programs promoting the acceptance of ethnic, religious and cultural diversity.

The Harmony Day poster competition is a major project which reaches out to primary and high school students.  Through their artwork, the students express their interpretation of values promoting understanding of religious and cultural differences, and their importance in a harmonious society.

Other activities of the Unit include the Human Rights Address, and discussion evenings with keynote speakers addressing humanitarian issues.

Moving Forward Together Inc is the vehicle for several activities of the Alfred Dreyfus Unit.
