Jenny Goldberg Community Service Grant
Jenny Goldberg was an active volunteer for B'nai B'rith and the wider community. She died in 2003. The grant exists to help improve people's skills as volunteers, which in turn will benefit the community at large.
To be eligible for the $2500 grant, applicants must be Jewish, reside in Melbourne and be under the age of 35, and have a history of volunteering in the Jewish and/or wider community. ...more

Click and Connect is an existing not for profit organisation that aims to help children in disadvantaged schools in Israel with conversation to improve their English language fluency and confidence. Click and Connect would like to expand their activities not only in Israel, but here in Australia, by assisting students who need help with English. Click and Connect leadership approached B'nai B'rith Victoria seeking our support. ...more

B'nai B'rith Victoria Units support community projects of their choice. For example both Unit Akiba and Gesher help pack Mother's day gifts for Impact for Women. BBVIC collects non-perishable food for Salvation Army.
