The B'nai B'rith Human Rights Oration Prof. Marcia Langton AO

On Sunday 11 July 2021  the B'nai B'rith Human Rights Oration took place, in conjunction with the JCCV.

Thank you to Dr Lois Peeler for your beautiful Acknowledgment of Country, Mark Leibler AC, event Patron who introduced the wonderful Prof Marcia Langton AO who spoke to the Uluru Statement from the Heart and its importance in action. The evening's proceedings can be viewed below.

We wish to thank the Hosts and donors for your support. In particular to Vivienne Fried, Dr Helen Gardner and Dr Paul Gardner AM, Mrs Janice Huppert, B'nai B'rith Victoria Raoul Wallenberg Unit, B'nai B'rith Victoria Unit Akiba, B'nai B'rith Victoria Melbourne Mitzvah Lodge, the generous Sponsors of Sunday’s event.

The surplus proceeds from the event will be distributed to support the Worawa Aboriginal College, whose Principal Dr Lois Peeler delivered the beautiful Acknowledgement of Country, Stand Up's work in its development of First Nations Partnerships and the continued work of B'nai B'rith in this most important of Human Rights initiatives.
