Hi
I'm just wondering if there are any toilet facilities anywhere along the Fitzroy route being the start of the route or anywhere along the route (I know there's facilities at Fed Square but I'm wondering at the start of the route)?

Yes of course.
Public facilities would be located at various points along the 9 km route, such as our first stop at Footscray station, then pubs along the way, public toilets at Flagstaff Gardens, etc.
They are generally also shown on Google maps
So should not be a problem.
Make sure that you bring a water bottle, have a hat, good walking shoes, sunscreen, etc. Luckily looks like the weather will be perfect for that walk!

Oh, I now realise that you were asking as to the Fitzroy route, well there should be facilities also along around such as Melbourne Central Station, pubs, etc.In any case it's only a 40 minute walk to Fed Square.
By the way Jacqui, I can't see your name as registered for the walk?
Cut off time is 6 pm Saturday evening.

I can't get to a description of the route from East Melbourne. How do I do this?

Yes Sandra, all who have registered on our TryBooking site at
https://www.trybooking.com/BUWDO will receive the full information on the walk that they have registered for on the close of the lists by Saturday evening.
Don't forget that you also need to register separately for entry into the festivities at Fed Square.
