Unit Hatikvah make Calico dolls for the Royal Children’s Hospital. Volunteers cut the material, sew the template pieces together, leaving the ability for the dolls to be stuffed and then sewn up. These dolls are donated to the Royal Children’s hospital where they are given to the children about to undertake a medical procedure to show them about the part of the body being operated.
The children decorate them and hold as a friend in difficult times.
