A. Vote on Resolution 1
That Rule 26.1 be changed:
From: ‘To be eligible to hold the office of President or Vice President of the Association a Member must be a Past President of a Constituent of B’nai B’rith Australia/New Zealand.’
To: ‘To be eligible to hold the office of President or Vice President of the Association the candidate must be an eligible Member of the Association.’
B. Vote on Resolution 2 below:
That, in accordance with Rule 26.5, it is agreed that Stephen Moskowitz be permitted to serve an additional 2-year term in the role of Treasurer of the VBBC.

Guest Speaker: At the conclusion of the formalities, we will have the pleasure of hearing from a special Guest Speaker – Daniel Tuksar is the UIA Shaliach for Victoria. He is 44 and was born in Zagreb, Croatia. He made Aliyah to Israel in 1996. Daniel holds a BA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in International Relations and MA from the Tel Aviv University in History. He has been working in the non-profit world for the past 20 years and is extremely excited to be able to be a part of the Melbourne community, expand the bonds it has with Israel and further develop the fantastic work KH-UIA does for the People of Israel. Daniel’s presentation had been arranged prior to October 7, but in light of the terrorist attacks that took place on that day, his perspective on the situation and how Israel is responding on the ground will be unique.
NOTE: the monthly meeting of the VBBC will follow immediately after the conclusion of the AGM.
