Bargain Bazaar Charity Shop

A registered charity “op shop” located in Maroubra, Bargain Bazaar is a cornerstone of B’nai B’rith NSW, raising vital funds to support communities in need.

Bargain Bazaar is run by a team of passionate and dedicated volunteers who collect donated goods in good condition from the community.

We’re committed to sustainability and our op shop helps the planet thanks to a reuse, repurpose, repair philosophy.

We sell mainly second-hand clothing and shoes as well as manchester, books, CDs, DVDs, kitchen and household goods. These come to us from customers who bring donations into the shop – often people who are decluttering, downsizing, moving into nursing homes or retirement villages or from deceased estates. We also have small electrical goods such as hair dryers, bedside lamps, table lamps and clock radios that are tested before being put out for sale. Occasionally we have fridges and washing machines in good condition and these sell quickly.

All proceeds are donated to local charities, both Jewish and non-Jewish. To date, Bargain Bazaar has raised over $1 million.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday 10 am – 4pm
Sundays 10am – 3pm (variable)
The Bargain Bazaar is closed on Saturdays, and all Jewish and national holidays.
