Established in 2013, the B’nai B’rith and JNF Youth & Young Adult Changemaker Awards, is a platform that honours and celebrates our community’s young activists, leaders and entrepreneurs who make a difference in professional and volunteer capacities. These talented individuals are building a more just society, ensuring the health and wellness of global communities and creating community in innovative ways. The Changemakers is the stage for our communal organisations to showcase their volunteers and for our young entrepreneurs to introduce their businesses. It plays an important role in nurturing the next generation of communal leaders.
We award the nation’s top Changemakers under the age of 36, in three main nomination categories: the Joshua Levi Young Professional Award, the Young Adult Volunteer Award and the Youth Volunteer Award. Each Changemaker is nominated by a member of our community as either a professional or a volunteer and a winner is selected in each category by a judging panel made up of community leaders.
Submissions open 1 July.
